The Wanted Cougars have been supporting/terrifying The Wanted for months now. They've often hit the headlines and have the lads in the palms of their hands. We thought it was time to find out more about them.... BE WARNED this interview contains language of a sexual nature.

TW Cougars have been mentioned in the press loads of times now – when and how did you first come to the attention of the press?
 
The first time was on The Wanted's Behind Bars Tour in March last year! We got mentioned in the paper because the boys had talked about us for making them ‘Tour Survival Kits’ as presents for opening night in Rhyl! They were kits containing all the essentials that a boy band need on tour….honey & lemon for their voices, a spare toothbrush, spare pants with ‘My First Tour’ printed on, beer (squash for Nath because age restrictions may apply!) & of course plenty of condoms…because what goes on on tour, stays on tour ;-) The boys also wrote about the kits in their weekly mailer that week!
 
Then there was that awkward moment when Nathan made a joke about us kidnapping him on TV….and the papers ran with it….but the less said about that, the better!
 
It was recently reported that Tom did a GILF. What do you think Tom sees in older ladies?
 
Unfortunately the GILF in question wasn’t one of us, so it’s hard to say….but probably the fact that they're legal for starters! Also, they tend to have more experience & could probably show him a thing or two! Cougars are likely to have an exceptionally large bank of sexual positions ;-)
 
 Which of The Wanted is your favourite and why?
 
We all have different favourites…sometimes it changes daily!
 
Tom & Jay are collectively our favourites as a group. Jay is genuinely one of the nicest people in the whole world. Aside from his gorgeous exterior; he's funny, talented, really thoughtful & is also totally on our wavelength when it comes to the filth - he's pretty much perfect! <3 And Tom’s a secret softie – although he likes everyone to think he’s badass, he’s done some lovely things for us that we won’t ever forget!
 
Individually;
Kim & Lawren’s favourite is Jay because he calls them his Livertonians & he’s hilarious, has gorgeous curls & delicious arms…that give the best hugs!
 
Paula’s favourite is Max coz as she says “he’s got a face for sitting on!”.
 
Lizzie’s favourite is Nathan 'cause he always plays hard to get…either that or he's scared sh*tless ;-)!
 
Ange’s favourite is Jay because he’s hilarious, filthy and random. Rachel’s favourite is Siva because he’s beautiful and very sweet! #cheekbones….but they definitely both (not-so-secretly) want a bit of Nath ;-)
 
Have the Cougars ever met or spoken to TW lads? If so, what happened?
 
We’ve met and spoken to them lots of times…we’ve been following & supporting the band since before ‘All Time Low’ was released and have travelled the length and breadth of the UK to support them at various gigs and appearances over the past 18 months! That’s how we’ve got to know them the way we have…and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved. We’d be here all week if we talked about what has happened every time we meet them but we always have a laugh with them and there is always lots of filthy banter, of course….especially with that Jay ;-P!
 
 Have you got your banners ready for TWAT? What are they going to say?
 
We’ve not planned any banners yet, but when we do they’re gonna be a secret until the day! Look out for the filthy ones at the Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle & Dublin dates tho…it’ll probably be us!
 
Obviously the Wet Floor Signs will be out, as standard!
 
Our banners last tour were hilarious….we had Nathan laughing on stage at “Who wants as ‘All Time Blow’ from Team Cougar?”
 
 
Tell us what Cougar Towers is like?
 
Unfortunately, we don’t all live together in a big Cougar commune L Cougar Towers are flats where 2 of us live in Manchester…they have a flat each in the block but the other cougars visit all the time! Angela describes it as is a naughty little sex den where EVERY visitor is ALWAYS glad they came! And Lizzie says that it's like Hogwarts for Cougars - big, magical, and full of vibrating wands! Make of that what you will….
 
We have invited the boys to come (#scusemelove) as mentioned in the paper recently….our door is always open for a TW/Cougar party but they’ve not come knocking….yet!
 
 Nathan is known as “the baby” of the group. What are your thoughts on that?
 
That we’re gonna make him a man!? ….He just needs to let us! ;-)
 
We actually love Nathan…it took him a while to get used to us. Think he used to be a bit intimidated but he’s started to embrace the Cougars for sure! We love the ‘hashtag banter’ with him….we call him Naked Skype as a cheeky nickname!
 
 
If The Wanted made a movie of their lives, who would play the Cougars?
 
This question is too funny...would we even be in the film?! Angela would pick Zooey Deschanel to play her and Lizzie picks Janice Dickinson because she's f*cking insane….and always off her tits. As for the rest of us….you decide!
 
 
 Which of The Wanted’s videos do you like the most and why?
 
We have too many favourite videos – ‘Lightning’ because they all look amazing & it’s an EPIC song! ‘Gold Forever’ because it’s got loads of in-jokes in it that only the fans will have got, ‘All Time Low’ coz it was their first ever video & that song is so special to us & ‘Warzone’ coz when Max slams that door open, the wet floor signs need to be erected! #Ooosh.
