Celebritain talk gimp masks with Lawson.

You guys have recently been signed, how did you celebrate?

Ryan - We didn't!

Joel - We haven't had time yet!

Andy - We are going to arrange a big night, have a nice meal go out and get smashed basically!

Joel - We had a few drinks to celebrate, we have been out, but not a proper celebration.

Andy - We're basically stringing it out and celebrating every night I think! Every second we have free, we're in the studio at the moment, so we haven't been able to do it properly.

Does being signed changed how you feel about the band?

Ryan - No, not a tall, no. We've been together for two years working towards this, so we were already established. We've been busy for ages, we've been gigging for a couple of years up and down the country so now it's just that we have a diary and structure in place that we've been looking forward to and we're enjoying every minute of it.

Does it mean you have money now?

Joel - Not at all, mate! No, the industry isn't the same as it used to be. We haven't even moved to London yet, it's all happening so fast, we're just going with it and trying to get sorted now.

Is there going to be a 'Lawson house' then?

Ryan - I don't think so, no. We're not going to do it in the typical way. I think a couple of us will live together. We want to be close together, but we won't all be in one house.

Andy -We don't want to be apart, it's not natural for us anymore!

You're going to be on the road soon supporting Will Young, how do you find travelling all the time and being in hotels constantly?

Ryan - We love it. The drive of being on the road, we just love it all. All four of us together, playing gigs every night, going back to the hotels every night it's amazing.

What do you get up to after gigs, is it just constant party time?

Ryan - Everywhere we go, Joel takes his wrestling mask with him...

Joel - When you have that mask on you can do whatever you want! You can run down the corridors naked with the mask on and no-one knows who you are.

Andy - We actually ran into a very burlish looking Scottish fella, that was funny. We have such a laugh, it's just brilliant being in a band. We watch all these dvds together. Last time we travelled we watched the Justin Timberlake live dvd.

Joel - We have high hopes!

Andy - Yeah we watched that for inspiration.

What is the plan for your first single, then?

Joel - Erm, sometime next year. We haven't recorded the album yet. We'll get everything ready and then next year we will go for it.

Andy - Next year, maybe in the first few months of next year something will happen.

Ryan - In the meantime, there is the free download called Red Sky. It's a song we've played live for a really long time and people really like it, so it's on lawsonofficial.com as a free download.

Good work getting that plug in! You did the Ultrasound Music Festival this year, will everything be ready for you to do loads more summer promotion in 2012?

Adam - Yes next year we hope to do gigs up and down the country and obviously there's loads of stuff that goes on in the summer, so hopefully we'll be back in time to be doing all of those. Ultrasound Festival was the first big main stage we've done. Last year we went to the Ultrasound Music Festival to check it out and this year we were on the stage, so we would love to be back again in Tamworth next year for certain.

Tell me about working with Guy Chambers?

Andy - Yeah it was great. Guy's amazing. We just did some writing together. Guy has had amazing success in the past and the present as well, he's had huge hits all over the world so when you work with people like that you really do learn a lot, it was a great experience. We are writing the album ourselves, so working with him was amazing.

He even tweeted that Adam was a great drummer, so that was really cool. He's a really nice guy.

We're doing the Celebritain Awards right now, and you're up for best Newcomer, how do you feel about that?

Ryan - that's awesome
Andy - Yeah, amazing, any awards that's great.
Joel - Can you put us down for four votes right now?
